Today I decided to dedicate a nail wheel to hip/hop rap group Odd Future.
The nail wheel was extremely fun to do. Painting the same basic coloured nails everyday is boring and this gave me a chance to switch things up.
Creating this nail wheel gave me the perfect opportunity to procrastinate and listen to music, which is probably why I enjoyed it most.
The one thing that you really need for this design is patience (as well as the correct nail art equipment)
Here is the finished nail wheel below. It features the Odd Future donut logo, plus other logos that the American rap group own:
Odd Future: Tyler, The Creator, Frank Ocean, Domo, Earl Sweatshirt, Left Brain, Hodgy Beats, The Internet, Taco, Jasper.
If you are familiar with the group then you would know that the OF donuts at the front stand for Odd Future.
I would of included all logos but then it gets complicated.
They usually just recycle old names, for example Golf Wang is a clothing brand but then they flip that name around to create Flog Gnaw which is the carnival name.
Most of the hip hop groups brands/logos are designed by Tyler, The Creator.
Tyler is the leader and co-founder of the alternative hip hop group Odd Future. He creates the clothes brands, writes the songs and he is the face of Odd Future.
The group is so large that they have only made one song all together, which is actually one of my favourites:
